High- definition, high-resolution digital image
The camera's unique technology uses a 1/2 inch, 1.2 million pixel CCD to obtain
superbly precise images equivalent to 5.8 million pixels. That amount of data,
almost 4 time the original resolution, is processed via a highly advanced color
reproduction algorithm to achieve specimen images of a quality that rivals even
that of a conventional 35 mm camera. The number of effective recording pixels
can be selected from 2,776x2,074, 1,392x1,040 and 640x480, so that users always
have the freedom to choose the level of resolution they require for each
application.
